Ms Rebecca East

Bec graduated from Deakin University, Geelong in 2004 with a Bachelor of Nursing and undertook her Graduate training at Epworth Healthcare Richmond where she developed her advanced nursing skills primarily in Perioperative Nursing for 7 years following this.

Her passion to live on the land brought her back to her roots and she returned to Echuca Regional Health where she studied and completed a double Master’s Degree, a Masters of Nursing (Perioperative), and a Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).

Bec now is an endorsed private practice Nurse practitioner that specialises in orthopaedics, weight management, women’s health, skin checks and skin cancer management, wound care, perioperative management, nutrition and gut health. She has over 20 years of working in the industry not only at the coal face, caring for patients, she is also the immediate past CEO of the Australian college of Perioperative Nurses (ACORN). ACORN allowed Bec to advocate and influence the health industry at a political and professional level but after 10 years advocating at this level she took the giant leap to follow her patient care passion and create The Holistic Care Collective (THCC).

Now the proud founder and CEO of THCC, a health and wellbeing company that comprises of her nurse practitioner services, nutritional and supplement products, health and wellbeing events, her beloved Educate and Empower podcast and her most recent endeavour her very own radio segment Saturday mornings at 9am on 2QN called It All Starts Within….

People often ask if Bec has a family outside of her professional life and she absolutely does. Ring leader to Team East, Ash her husband of almost 20 years, her two kids, Harriet and Freddie are her biggest cheerleaders. Along with her family Bec loves, cooking, farm and sheep work (when she can!) and fine French champagne.
